Rust is fascinating.
It slowly, relentlessly consumes the object of its desire. Even its color and texture, which beckons the touch, leave behind blood-stained smears.
Once stripped away--polished even, the object will forever bare traces of its scar. It's like sin. That decay that methodically poisons our hearts.
Only Christ can heal its wounds and make useable, our pockmarked souls!
